abuse & safety resources for schools

Free Kids Helpline resources on what is abuse and what students can do if they're unsafe.

supporting students to stay safe and get help

It can be hard to start conversations about abuse and safety with children and young people. They may not recognise abuse in families and relationships, or know what their “warning signs” of being unsafe are.

These resources can help your students to understand confusing issues like what to do when they feel unsafe, what to do if someone is hurting them, and how to identify things like disrespect and grooming.

These free resources were created by Kids Helpline Counsellors for schools, parents, caregivers and communities.
