Free online learning about cyberbullying for kids
Recommended for all high school year levels.Students will learn:
- what are online bullying behaviours
- how to challenge attitudes that foster online bullying
- myths and facts of cyberbullying causes and effects
- mental health impacts of cyberbullying
- the rights every young person has online, as well as their responsibilities to others
- protective behaviours for dealing with cyberbullying
Optional alternatives:
- effective help-seeking as a key protective factor to online safety
- safe bystander ('upstander') behaviour online
- how to have positive online interactions
- conflict management with empathy, assertiveness, and impulse control
